Reporting a cybersecurity vulnerability or incident in a Sentinel product

Product security is something we take seriously throughout the product lifecycle. In line with the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), we maintain a dedicated channel for reporting cybersecurity vulnerabilities or incidents in our products.

About the Cyber Resilience Act

The Cyber Resilience Act introduces cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements placed on the EU market. These cover secure product development, vulnerability management, and security updates throughout a product's lifecycle.
From 11 September 2026, manufacturers must be able to identify and report certain serious cybersecurity incidents and actively exploited vulnerabilities within defined regulatory timelines. This page explains how to reach us if you believe you have found such an issue in a Sentinel branded product.

How to report an issue

If you are a customer, security researcher, supplier, partner, or other external party and believe you have identified a potential cybersecurity vulnerability or security incident affecting a Sentinel product, please contact: cra.security@aalberts-hfc.com

This mailbox is monitored so that reports enter our cybersecurity incident process and can be assessed, escalated, and, where required, reported within the applicable CRA timelines.

Please don't wait for a complete technical write-up before reporting. Share what you know as soon as possible — our team will carry out the technical assessment as part of the incident-response process.
