For ground source heat pump systems.
Sentinel R800 Cleaning and Flushing Fluid helps to restore the efficient operation of ground source heat pump systems, helping to remove degraded thermal fluid and any residual sludge or deposits. The system should then be filled with Sentinel R500 Heat Transfer Fluid or Sentinel R500C Thermal Fluid Concentrate.
Key features
Ready to use without dilution.
Removes degraded thermal fluid.
Cleans within 20-30 minutes.
Effective at low temperature.
Can be used with a flushing machine.
Non-foaming and easy disposal.
Compatible with common system materials.
Description
Used to restore the efficient operation of ground source heat pump systems where degradation of the thermal fluid has occurred. Sentinel R800 Cleaning and Flushing Fluid is a mildly alkaline solution which contains special dispersants designed to remove deposits and sludge from systems in which the heat transfer fluid has degraded. It is effective at low temperatures and cleans within 20-30 minutes.
Once clean, the system should then be filled with Sentinel R500 Heat Transfer Fluid or Sentinel R500C Thermal Fluid Concentrate.
Using R800 Cleaning and Flushing Fluid:
When circulated through the ground source heat pump ground loop at ambient temperature for a period of approximately 20-30 minutes with a flushing unit, Sentinel R800 Cleaning and Flushing Fluid will effectively remove any sludge, deposits or blockages caused by degraded thermal fluid.
For systems with extensive deposits, it may be necessary to extend circulation time or to elevate the cleaning temperature to achieve an effective clean.
